The chequered pattern is formed by yellow, maroon and blue lines running horizontally and vertically. On the Maroon-brown border, white n yellow threads run in lines.  The Pallu is in deeper maroon hue.

 This saree can be easily paired with a yellow,blue, brown or a maroon coloured blouse.

Any irregularities, coarseness and pin marks only reminds one, of the handloom process and must not be considered as damage.
